Pente Grammai

Three modern reconstructions of a game whose rules did not survive. None of them is the recovered ancient game, and none is presented as more likely than the others. Read the evidence dossier.

Choose a version

Switching version always starts a new match. Nothing carries over between versions.

Counters travel one point at a time. Watching a move is how each version teaches its own route — the three versions do not share a board. Changing opponent or computer style starts a new match; movement speed does not.

Deterministic replay · seed · add ?seed=123&version=kidd2017 to reproduce a match. A deterministic replay is a debugging aid, not a historical reconstruction.
