A Poem a Day campaign measurement

What we count

When measurement is enabled, Mindful Echo counts one aggregate page visit to /pause/poem-a-day/, the page title, and four short campaign labels selected by us: source, medium, campaign and content ID.

Each label is limited to 64 lowercase letters, numbers, underscores or hyphens. The campaign must be pause_poem30. Invalid or incomplete label sets are discarded rather than sent.

What we do not send

The campaign counter does not send the referring page, full query string, screen dimensions, arbitrary URL parameters, form content, journal content, poems, voice recordings, names, email addresses or a person-level journey.

It does not use analytics cookies, local storage or another persistent browser identifier. Blocking the analytics request does not block or change the page.

GoatCounter's role

We use hosted GoatCounter as a service provider acting on our behalf for aggregate campaign counts. Mindful Echo chooses the permitted fields and restricts access to the results. GoatCounter is not authorised by us to use them for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Before enablement, we require individual pageview collection and unnecessary device or location dimensions to be disabled, Sessions to remain enabled for temporary in-memory visit de-duplication, and aggregate retention to be set to 365 days. Read GoatCounter's privacy information.

Retention and your choices

Aggregate campaign counts are retained for 365 days. We may keep a campaign-level results summary after that period, but we do not create or retain a separate person-level analytics export.

You can block analytics requests with browser settings or content-blocking software. Because the retained results are aggregate and carry no analytics identifier, Mindful Echo normally cannot identify or retrieve one person's contribution.
